Who am I?

I’m a therapist... more specifically, a hypnotherapist, a CBT therapist, an NLP practitioner, and a therapeutic coach. Previously, a massage therapist, reflexologist, and aromatherapist. I'm a writer (on therapy, hypnosis, mental health, and talking therapies) as well as a storyteller, and poet, a hypnotherapy trainer and clinical supervisor.

A born-again Yorkshire woman, raised in Surrey. I love reading, sewing, movie-going (Picture House, not multiplex), steam trains, narrowboats, jazz (any era), and live music in small venues. Art, dance, dogs (especially sighthounds), Northern Bloc ice cream, and anything made with rhubarb.

I hate racism, indoctrination, exploitation, injustice, cruelty, misogyny, energy drinks, and okra.

What I do

I’m keen for you to get results in the shortest possible time and that's why I use hypnotherapy and CBT as my primary therapies, alongside therapeutic coaching and other psychotherapeutic techniques. I've been a therapist for a very long time and I'm known for getting quick, long-lasting results. My unique blend of hypnosis and talking therapy is supremely effective. 

Change doesn’t need to be protracted or painful, however messy your back story is. I’ll help you to ditch the narrative that’s keeping you small, fearful, stuck, or miserable so that you can make better choices and achieve your potential.

Why me?

I am an award-winning hypnotherapist and have thousands of client-hours experience. I'm comfortable working with complex emotional problems, entrenched behaviour patterns, and highly sensitive issues. I have perfected my therapeutic skills over many years and have passed on my expertise to large numbers of hypnotherapy students at my training school, London Hypnotherapy Academy. Graduates from my accredited training academy are in practice in Europe, The US, Canada, and Australia as well as towns and cities across the UK, including The City of London and Harley Street.

There is no 'one size fits all' when working with human beings and my expertise lies in identifying what will be the most effective approach for you and doing that quickly. 

What I Do

I work with clients whose self-talk is sabotaging their aspirations or sucking the joy out of their life.

Maybe Imposter syndrome causes them to work longer and harder, but despite great achieve

ments, they still fear being rumbled as a fraud. Or perhaps the fear of public speaking or talking in meetings leaves them sleep-deprived or sick to the pit, or even quitting a job they love.

I’m keen to help you get results in the shortest possible time. In my experience change doesn’t need to be protracted or painful, however messy your back story is. I don’t want to take your money to just listen and nod for weeks, months, or years; hopefully, you have got friends or family for tea and sympathy. Yes, I’ll provide tea (Yorkshire of course) and I’ll listen and ask you questions so that I can notice negative patterns or unhelpful beliefs and get a sense of where we need to do the work. Using a blend of hypnosis and other talking therapies, I help you to stop running your old script so that you can give fear the middle finger and reconnect with your brilliance.
 I’ll help you to get your mojo back. And that’s not all... You’ll learn techniques from me that you can use whenever you need them. 

I offer online therapy sessions (using Zoom) in the daytime, evening, and at weekends and when it's Covid-safe, I also work face-to-face. My fees aren't 'Primark' nor are they 'Prada' but getting fast, pain-free results with my clients is what I'm known for. If things are difficult right now, I'll do my best to be flexible, so if you want to find out what's involved, grab a cuppa and give me a call.

  • I will teach you skills you can use to manage challenges in the future
  • I'll send you hypnosis recordings to aid relaxation, boost confidence, and 'beat that thing'
  • I will select self-help tools or exercises for you to do at home (optional, of course)
  • I'll send you regular tips and ideas and video recommendations to help you stay on track
  • You can check-in by email between sessions (if required)
